I have owned 2.0L I4's and I can't understand how anyone thinks it is a better engine than the FA20 unless they want something with higher revs than it.
3 major problems with I4's for me.
1. No torque whatsoever until about 5-6k
2. Since the engine is taller I can actually feel the front heavy bias more
3. Not as smooth as some thinks
With the FA20 I can't tell that the engine sits over the suspension from enthusiastic driving(the low CoG is not a gimmick) and the torque it makes in the lower rpms feel more solid than any Honda engine I have driven at or under 2.0L
