For tire setup, I run square 225's, mainly because I can only run stock rim width in my autox class. If you're going wider, do you have adjustable suspension? As gopher boy said, stock 86's don't make a ton of power so you shouldn't need extra rear grip (to dial out oversteer). So I'd say run a square setup and adjust handling balance with strut settings (if your suspension is adjustable).

Fair disclaimer, I don't have a ton of experience with other tire widths yet, but I will say with square 225's in a sticky tire (Bridgestone RE71R's), the frs is much more neutral.

Ps...going back and driving on the stock tires after sticky tires is a ton of fun. Hello drift action! Lol
I'm not at all active on mnsubaru. I don't even remember my password for a couple usernames I created because I forgot the previous ones. But I keep browsing the for-sale threads to buy stuff now and then. I also ended up buying my 11 WRB STi that way, last year!!

And yea, I'll probably have to roll the fenders and or stretch the fenders to accommodate the 235s although it doesn't seem to me that the 2cm is going to add up to that much width.

Guess I'll only know after I get it and test it out.
