Some chatter is expected and normal with lightweight flywheels.

ACT recently revised their flywheels, and the latest generation of flywheels have improved their NVH, as well as their driveability.

The revised prolite flywheels JUST arrived on the 18th, and we already have one in our BRZ. There is chatter when you are not on the clutch pedal, in neutral, idling. No other noise.

The revised streetlite is due at the end of Sept, and will have no chatter at all.

If you've driven a STi, the XDSS has approximately the same pedal weight, but without as large of a decreasing force as you hit the bottom of the clutch stroke. The CSG BRZ is now on a XDSS.
