My wife got into an accident years ago that she was not at fault for. Her car was nearly totaled. Because of the fact that she was not at fault, she was able to get it removed off of the CarFax report.

I would be the most pissed person in the world if I bought a car that was almost totaled and the Carfax didn't report it. Just because it wasn't her fault does not negate the fact that the car was in a major accident and seriously damaged. That is the whole point of Carfax so that people can not hide the fact their car was damaged.
