That didn't happen just by the exhaust dropping. That was why I was wondering about marks underneath. Maybe backed into an angled curb that pushed it up without catching it so you didn't even know it happened?

Sorry I was a little unclear, like i said above it would come off the hanger (like slide to the right) and push against the bumper and I guess since it melted a hole through the bumper it couldnt lean on it anymore so thats when it fell on the ground. I don't know when it actually broke from the weld thats just when i noticed it because i went under to put it back on.
