I also made sure the small circle on the flywheel lined up on the engines crank notch to make sure I didn't get any vibrations. As factory flywheels and cranks have the same marks.

Could have something to do the grease you mentioned. Wouldn't not fully disengaging and me trying to push the gear in make a grind. This sucks,
I've read about the grease and I can't really say anything about the install as I didn't do it. All I could do is pay and have someone re do it as I don't have anyone that could help locally.
