I've had yellow stuff in the Forester since the day I got it and they've been taking a hammering. Track day, offroad, klapping GTi's, etc - no issues at all but they are massive pads in 8 pot calipers which I'm assuming helps with heat, etc.

I was also keen on trying them in the 86 front & rear matched but they didn't have stock of the fronts. Vari mentioned that they've had problems when not matched.
