Took a closer look when I had my BRZ serviced at the dealers. I think they look great in person. Seating position is not even that high when I had the seat adjusted all the way down. I was surprised at how everything felt right with the interior which Subaru is not really known for. If the BRZ and WRX came out at the same time..I would've had a tough time deciding on which car to get.

It does look better in person, there are lots of lines to the car that are more visible in person. At the end of the day though, it is still a practical sedan which limits how good it can look compared to say a smaller coupe.
