The Torsen is a helical differential. The only thing you will be changing is the TBR (Torque Bias Ratio) by going to a different helical differential. Torsen/Quaife/OBX helical differentials all work the same, as soon as one wheel has 0 friction, all power goes to that wheel. Whereas with the clutch type/metal plate type when one wheel has 0 friction it will lock both rear.

Out of curiosity how did you brake the 1.5/2W LSD??
