I also have a scion frs that I just bought, used, 2015 with two previous owners.
Carfax was clean, they explained that the guy had lost the title so a new one was issued. They count "#of owners" by the number of times the title is issued.
Seems weird.
Mine has 4,727 miles on it. I have put on 300.
Car seems fine, got the extended 100K bumper to bumper for the extra money.
Seems weird though, right?
