What cars have you guys driven??!?!
2700lbs is heavy?!?!
Ahem you guys realize the M Cars from BMW start at like 3200lbs right?
The Miatas have pretty much always been under 2500lbs. You can do that when you don't have a back seat, a roof, and almost 2 feet less of car behind your head.
The MT test really came down to weight and torque versus the FT.
The Miata is 400lbs less, and gets nearly the same 150lbs of torque at 1500rpm sooner.
Take 400lbs off the weight of the BRZ and FRS and test again.
The results would be BRS/FRS win.
But again, it's an apples to oranges comparo.
I'm a Miata fan (former MCA member), but my butt isn't hurt over tests like this.
