Yep, you can just swap the compressor back to the stock intake, flash the ECU (if you're using an OFT for tuning, this takes about 3-5 minutes), and drive.
Remember, this is a street kit first that will work great for canyon carving, AutoX and Drag are probably ok too. Drift, untested, Track for limited sessions but more testing is needed. The newer controllers have improved heat tolerance. It all depends on how you're driving the car as to how much time you'll get on boost before hitting the heat limit. We've heard of people running 20 minute sessions at hot California tracks (WSIR IIRC) with ducting and a vented hood and being fine, so may factors can come into play. Adding additional cooling (ducts, fans, heat-pipes, waterblocks, etc.) are up to the individual depending on their needs.
