I'm not sure what your tastes are for cars, but based on the fact that you have limited experience modifying cars, it wouldn't hurt to consider other cars that you could buy for the same cost of the car plus mods. I drove a Vortech S/C'd car while I was halfway into my own install. It was nice but it still felt like a tuned car, if that makes sense. After I added up all the receipts for what I did to my own car and calculated what I still wanted to do, I got cold feet, sold everything and bought a used Porsche. Within two weeks my friend who also had a supercharged BRZ parted his out and did the same thing, in an odd coincidence.
Now not everyone is gonna do the same thing; some people get more enjoyment out of buying a car and making it their own and I totally respect that. Just consider what else is out there for similar money. An early Porsche Cayman S has 295hp with chassis tuning and brakes to match, and will set you back $30-35k for a good one with low miles. Supercharging an S2000 will cost less and make more power. There are plenty of Corvettes out there with 350-400hp stock. Just give it some thought, if you haven't already.
I suggest you find someone local with a tuned BRZ/FR-S and see if they'll be kind enough to let you drive it or at least take a ride in it. Then try a few other things in the same cost bracket and go from there. Not saying a supercharged BRZ isn't a good idea; it's an awesome idea! Modifying them can be a slippery slope though, so just be careful
