I'm thinking about doing this with a cheap backup android phone that's sitting in my drawer. What are some good mounting points that allow you to hide the charging cable?
Also, this may be a noob question but is there any advantage to having an in line oil temp sensor connected to a dedicated gauge vs. displaying the OBDII reading?
