The first time I went on track in my car was the same. The day started with a very wet track in the rain and then ended up drying completely at about 1pm. That's the way it should be done . It might of been the same day as your video.

So I am kind of hoping for something similar tomorrow.

It's not nearly as traumatic as it sounds - ha-ha!!

Sure, a wet track is different, but it's great fun, the speeds are much lower, and you'll learn a lot.
You're not likely to set any lap records, but you'll have plenty fun - probably more fun than on a dry track.
