On the other end of the spectrum: a friend that I've gone to school with my whole life was studying to be a vet after high school. One day she stopped at the local mall to meet her sister for lunch. With what amounted to a ransom note. Some "good Samaritan" had reported it. Her poor old dog was terrified at the Humane Society and she had to pay to get him back.
My takeaway is that when it comes to pets, people on both sides can lack common sense.  |
