New Scion 2016 FR-S Owner!

I couldn't be more pleased to own such an amazing tribute car! My first ever drift was in an AE86, then a Nissan 240Z but for the past 8 years I have owned a Mazda RX-8. I loved this car so much but eventually like most rotary's the engine finally gave and I was stuck with the hard decision of replacing it for another 100,000 or getting a new car. I think I made the right decision, but feel free to help me feel even better about this new move.

So far, I miss a lot of the luxury features of my car(leather, heated seats, sunroof, subwoofer, 6 CD changer, Sirius XM, HID's, etc) but after looking at Toyota of Japan's website it appears the JDM market gets all kinds of tweaks and mods that make this car a custom fit for any driver.

Owning a 2016 comes with it's own set of perks, new audio system, new 7" touch screen and a backup camera. But I guess I didn't realize when I bought it that the steering wheel is the Urethane wheel from the G series in japan... this is the el cheapo model steering wheel. Where as the 2013 and BRZ's come with the leather or even more desirable leather/Alcanteza wheel (in the limited)

The car handles well and I have already put over 1000 miles on in just 1 week of ownership. I have really enjoyed every turn with this car and the instant response of having such a light car!

Anyway, here are a few photos and I should also say, I very much look forward to chatting with all of you FR-S owners out there, I have been admiring many of your photos and especially the shift knobs over the day just waiting to make this first post!
