This shouldn't even be a comparison. The Civic Si doesn't hold a candle to an FR-S/BRZ. I am currently selling my 07 Civic Si sedan and I must say that this was one of the worst car decisions I have made.

Though fairly quick in 1st/2nd gear, the car is gutless everywhere else. The interior layout feels like a Space capsule. The shifter isn't smooth as people give these cars credit for (I guess for some people it is, but these cars have Known, widespread transmission problems).

This has also been the most unreliable car I have ever owned (this is compared with Chevy Cavaliers, RSXs, SRT-4, SVT Contour, etc.)

at about 45k miles my VSA Modulator went bad (controls the VSA system, part is roughly $800 from dealer, 2-3 hours labor). At the same time I also lost a wheel speed sensor. I just got it back from being fixed again, this time it was some sort of o2 sensor I believe that was went bad and was causing a check engine light.

There were some other minor things that went wrong, but the point being is that i've owned this car for maybe, 1 year and a half and have put a good $1,200 into repairs (bought it with only 37k miles) and it only has 63k on it now.

If anybody is considering a Civic Si over an FR-S or BRZ, you need to wake up and come back to reality.
