Yea I get that. With the FR-S I've saved, on average based on the cost of each tank, $25.33 per FR-S tankful over my previous DD which had a lifetime MPG of 17.5MPG. Over 64,000 miles that has added up to right at $4,800 while not dreading getting in my car every day.

Exactly. I do think the Prius series are decent cars for what they are, I just couldn't bring myself to drive one.
