I'm ROFL over here reading all these responses (except for the guy who said people are complaining "like women". He can just STFU.) I'm so glad I'm not alone.
I'm 43, and only 5'1", so getting in really isn't much of an issue. Getting out free of embarrassment is the real challenge. The main issue is my destroyed left knee. That knee has really just quit the job of "catapulting" me...well, anywhere. The second issue is the damn door that won't stay open, and I swear I can hear giggling as it keeps closing on my left leg while I'm trying to maneuver myself out.
All in all it's not THAT hard, until you add all of life's little complications....like getting out while holding my big purse, a soda, my phone, my keys, the mail, etc....because I'm too lazy to go around and get all that shit out from the passenger side after I get out...so I try to do the "getting out dance" WHILE carrying all that stuff. Ugh.
I thought I was gonna have a real problem on my hands the day I took my Dad out on some errands...he's 72, 5 feet tall, 5 feet wide, has been 9 months pregnant for 15 years, and has two bad knees. I really thought he was just going to have to stay in my car and live in my garage, but he managed to get himself out. It wasn't pretty.
