There was this one time where muscle memory kicked in when I was exiting the old Corolla. Without a second thought, I moved the seat all the way back, opened the door as wide as it can go, stuck my left leg out, and put my left hand on the door sill while swinging the right leg out.

Still not realizing what was going to happen, the right side of my face kissed the gravel. I got up, looked around in embarrassment, brushed my self off, then scurried inside.

I've long ago learned to embrace my lack of grace. I just get up, dust off and, if I have an audience, take a polite bow.
