The original post cracked me up! As stupid as this thread sounds, I have a few pointers that have made it a lot more graceful (as graceful as I can be at 47 years old, 6'4" tall, and 235lbs) for me. The first step is to rotate my body to the left and put my left leg over the seat bottom bolster suspending my foot above the ground. The second step is to put my left palm flat on the raised portion of the chassis between the seat and door sill. The third step is to use the momentum caused by swinging my shoulders and torso out of the vehicle to pivot and lift my body up and out of the seat while simultaneously shifting my weight onto my straightened left arm and dropping my left foot onto the ground. This is the crucial step, and the momentum causes my body to easily pop out of the seat with my weight further supplemented by pressing my right foot against the dead pedal, basically pivoting so that all my weight is borne by my left arm and right foot. I do not have to use the steering wheel in any way, and I don't use my right arm for anything other than to create the momentum I need. It sounds complex, but it's an extremely low-energy way to get out of the car, and the pivoting and rolling of your body out of the seat really prevents your hip causing wear on the seat bolster as you get out - in fact, that was my original concern and I mastered this technique long ago in my old BMW E46 M3.
Who in the hell posts a tutorial on how to get out of a car? Either way, good luck with the technique!
