This^ After practicing, this works very well for me, very easy to get out. Also helps to push with your left forearm off the seat too. Lean forward out the door over your left foot, leverage. It's even easier with a grocery bag or two sticking them out there! Counter-balance! There is a slight turn or twist as you exit. The leaning forward and over your left foot/leg, and pushing up with just that leg, is what makes it easy.

Getting in is easier, just kind of slide down the seat in. 6'1", 190
