Congrats! Hell of a first car. 20-30 years from now when you're in conversations with others about "what was your first car" your eyes will glaze over with memories of your first love. Treat it with respect. Heed what the more experienced guys tell you ... or you will crash it, potentially badly. Do not disengage the traction control on the street.

Do practice. Make learning how the car drives a part of your everyday obsession. Practice on parking lots. Find Autocross events where you can practice pushing the car in a safe environment. Before spending a bunch of $'s on mods, invest in doing a track day with an instructor in the car with you. It will change your life, and possibly save it. After driving on a track, street driving will seem completely different.

Apologies for being all preachy ... please don't take this as being a buzz kill or anything. The FR-S is an amazing first car. I'm super happy for you. Be safe and have fun.
