Thanks for the detailed reply. I suspected it was OpenFOAM, I've been reading up on that but haven't taken the plunge. What are your thoughts on usability? I've heard it's somewhat hard to work with, but it looks like you guys have it figured out.
I completely understand your sentiments on testing. We're very happy to have the racetrack access that we do.
We've got a 2015 BRZ stuffed full of ride height sensors, tire temp sensors, etc. and we're planning on using the data to design parts and validate things we can sell to our customers. If you'd like to discuss a cooperative effort, shoot me a PM or email (jake at performancespeedtech.com) I'm sure we could find a way to get your parts on our car and get you some on-track data. We're already working with some other small companies doing exactly that.
