Not saying that rural areas aren't significantly hindered, just saying it ain't paradise in most metropolitan areas, even the supposedly high tech 'cutting edge' ones.
And you can probably afford to buy a house, so you've got that going for you.
Edit: Actually a 4G cellular dataplan might even be better... I know my phone can pull 20Mbps.

I had a friend at school that had Hughes Net back at his house in SW GA and he hated it. The data cap was horrible, but I'm gonna rent an apartment in one of the larger cities near me. I don't plan on staying in one place too long, so renting is the way to go for now. Hopefully they'll offer something better than in the area
