I've been using Spotify on Bluetooth radio since the day I've had the car with no issues at all. I've ridden in my friend's FRS/BRZ multiple times and none of us have this issue. Perhaps you should look into your phone or perhaps your service provider as the culprit.

I checked it and it was that the hu couldn't handle syncing contacts etc. So far it seem to improve a bit without syncing contacts. I don't think there's a xb setting on a brz stereo. I also went with one of the forums equalizer and it sounded alot better. I'll just have to invest in a goof sub+6.5s
