For what it's worth I have dealt with and met Bergen before. He seemed like a real straight up guy, former military as I recall. And, he definitely is working in the oil fields.
I think the seller made an error for sending product without receiving payment. Hopefully the two will make some resolution. UMB FR-S, had I shipped product before receiving payment I am sure i'd have encountered similar situations to yours multiple times. The deal's not done until they pay you, like it or not. Shipping prematurely is something I have never encountered.
I have also had people bust out on deals when they were supposed to meet me at a specific time, without phone calls or any notice. It's not cool, but again I wouldnt give them anything before payment.
You can't really point a finger at Bergen in this case.
