Somewhere long ago I determined it wasn't worth cheaping out on this stuff. While it's still a good bit more than the knockoff, it's less than the one you linked. Only problem I've had is after I reflash my phone and have to re-pair (and can't find the damn paperwork.) I like the bit of extra security in that it doesn't make it easy for just anyone to pair.
