Now I get what you're asking. No, there is no other bearing. The metal piece going into the pillowball is joined to the spring tophat by a neoprene-like fitted "washer" that allows the two parts to smoothly turn against each other under load when adjusting the shock body height. Or at least that's what it looks like to me. HVT has some info on their site, but not exactly comprehensive.
