I try to make it a habit to not go looking for something to purchase and then create a use or need for. I usually wait for a need before I shop something. Keeps my wife sane and my wallet full.....er.
But I do think that you probably owe it to yourself to check out the newer FA20DIT. I think Subaru did a fantastic job with the engine and the totally usable torque down low vs the FRS's 5500 RPM peak torque. It's a blast to drive but in such a different way.
