Good read. I feel very similarly about my other car, a 4-door mk6 GTI. As far as sporty cars go, it's pretty much the polar opposite of the FR-S:
- refined vs. raw
- turbo vs. NA
- FWD vs. RWD
- DSG vs. 6MT
- spacious vs. cramped
They help balance each other out, and similar to you I think I appreciate them more having owned them together.
