I use Optimum No Rinse Wash, Meguiar's Ultimate Wax, and Meguiar's Clay. I also like Griot's Garage Speed Shine, and I've also had good luck with Meguiar's Black Wax as an all-in-one cleaner wax. Yes, I use their Black Wax on white cars. For serious polishing and finishing, I see a detailer.

I wash my car once a week when the weather allows for it. I'll do a good wax every couple of months after claying, and I'll use a spray wax in between serious waxings after a quick wash.

It's probably a little excessive, but I park outside year round, so I'm pretty anal about it. I think white's a good color for a car that lives outside, just as long as you keep the bird crap and bugs from cooking into the clear coat.

EDIT: Also, don't let anyone tell you otherwise; you can and should totally clay a new car and wax/seal it.
