So, I have been talking with CounterSpace Garage about this and we have something figured out. Let me just say, if you are serious about purchasing a set of the SPOON Rigid Collars, you will not be disappointed with the deal. I cannot say anything on the public forum but if you want more details please PM me. I am helping CounterSpace Garage with this as they have lots of other stuff going on at the moment.
As for the rust/corrosion, the Rigid Collars come with copper grease. there`s plenty of it ( I think I used maybe half of the tube) so if you do live in the area where it snows, just be generous with the lube (that`s what she said)
