The flanges can bolt together slightly differently depending on how you hold it/where it is sitting until the bolts are tight enough to prevent movement. I tried that. I pushed the front pipe and the over pipe as far as it can go up. I ended up wrapping the over pipe with material that will soften the impact and make the noise almost unrecognizable other then when I start it up.
