I would just follow the overpipe with my finger and feeling for clearance if you cannot see it. If something feels quite a bit less than letting your finger go by, then you probably found your issue and may need to adjust a little bit.

Did you tighten starting from header to overpipe end first?
I can't remember the order I tightened everything I just remember making them really tight. Do you think i should tighten the over pipe to the header first and then work my way back? Either way i'm going to loosen and re tighten everything. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem. Figured it would be an easy install..
