Any personal emails answered are NOT official. You could still lose a protest without proper documentation.

He responded to my letter to SEB #17201. I will keep you updated, and you can follow the letter...
I know the process (done it for MANY years at a National level and been thru the protest process and always won with proper documentation and following by the letter of the rules)...
