It doesn't tell us anything we don't already know but I found it of some interest.
When I first test drove a FR-S back in early 2013 my first impressions were great handling, underpowered, and overpriced when adding TN's $600. bs dealer doc fee and 9.75% sales tax. But I really liked the car, so I waited for a low mileage 2013 used FR-S and found one in early 2014 for <$20K. I now find its power more than adequate.
What these articles have not considered is the used car market. There are a lot of us out there that have purchased, or will purchase a used FR-S or BRZ.
