I've got a beautiful Spencer model of 1882.
First *successful* slide-action shotgun ever made.
Less than 2000 were made between 1882 and 1886,
when Spencer was finally bought out by Bannerman.
It's had 130 YEARS to appreciate in value, not to
mention the survival rate can't have been great.

Nobody cares.

I don't think it's even kept up with inflation.
