I eventually learned more about the joint venture between Toyota and Subaru to bring back a small, lightweight RWD sports car with the heritage of the Toyota AE86.
I'm 47 years old. I grunt a little bit, getting down low into the seat. But I don't care. I rather have this car than a big sedan or truck. I know there are FR-S/GT86 owners even older than me here. That says something a lot about a car like the FR-S/GT86/BRZ which is supposed to be marketed towards the Gen Y crowd, who ironically are driving the bigger cars and trucks us older drivers should be driving.

Fujiumi, I couldn't agree more. I can't stand driving the big cars which seem to be the bread and butter of the auto industry. My wife has a Nissan Armada; the biggest, least efficient, most boring auto I have ever driven. Now that our kids are getting older, it's nice to have the opportunity to transition back to a smaller car which is a blast to drive. Albeit, one which is a bit difficult to get in and out of. Question.... has anyone bumped there head/face on the stationary part of the window as the get in? Seems like I just miss it, and if I were any taller than 5'7" I would certainly poke my eyes out.
