Hey guys, I’m wondering if any of you can help diagnose a potential problem i’m having: After putting the clutch in, the shifter makes a clunking noise and shifts kind of roughly into gear. While keeping the clutch held in, it shifts into any gear buttery smooth thereafter. Why is it rough shifting into gear the first time after putting the clutch in, but smooth shifting afterwards with the clutch still held in? (If I let the clutch out and back in again, it happens again without fail.) This is my first manual car and I’ve had it for only a month so i’m kind of freaking out.

Edit: Car was fully warmed up and I tested this after around 25 minutes of driving.
