I bought mine in August 2012 and it had an $845 BeSpoke head unit I didn't ask for or want. I couldn't get a car without any add-ons though.
The dealer I bought my car from actually told me I would be getting a car with window tint and some of the paint protection film but I got a stereo instead.
I checked the price difference and it turned out to be about the same so I never complained about the difference but I always wondered, are there any real base model owners out there in the U.S.A?

Purchased 5/31/12. Out the door price $23,700. I am an employee and also got a hefty reimbursement after the purchase that covered taxes.
