This is BS. One of the nations largest Subaru dealers in Irvine, CA, had a BRZ that was for sale to the public (car was not reserved) and they didn't ask more than MSRP. Why??? They don't want to alienate customers in the long term. Wonder why they are one of the largest Subaru dealers? It's because they understand long term market forces are more important than short term gains. Sounds like the Scion dealers in Miami need to figure this out. You guys in Miami could literally fly over here, buy a car, ship it back and still have saved a few grand and gotten an arguably nicer car.
