I bought mine in August 2012 and it had an $845 BeSpoke head unit I didn't ask for or want. I couldn't get a car without any add-ons though.
The dealer I bought my car from actually told me I would be getting a car with window tint and some of the paint protection film but I got a stereo instead.
I checked the price difference and it turned out to be about the same so I never complained about the difference but I always wondered, are there any real base model owners out there in the U.S.A?

Why didn't you just go to a dealership that wouldn't push you around?
Dealerships don't make sense to me. Cars are the most expensive thing a person owns after their house, and yet dealerships treat people like they're herding cattle. Spend $25k in a jewelry store and they'll practically give you a free handy, spend $25k at a dealership and they'll spit in your face and tell you to go fuck yourself.
