Actually in Southern Ontario where I am the average summer temperature is 80 but we can go days at a time pushing 100. We also get extensive humidity off the lakes so even the 80 can feel like 100.
Some people do not realize that there is a big part of Canada sticking way down into the US. There are 27 whole or partial states (including small parts of both California and Nevada) north of me.
