To me, it was between this and a 370Z. I'd had Z's before, and to be honest, my 280zx that had new suspension, built engine, etc is still my favorite car I've ever owned.

But initially I was looking at the frs and it handled like it was on rails, looked great, good value, and everything about the car felt great. I was even satisfied with the power. What I didn't like was the scion badge (being honest.... Would have badged it toyota), the torque dip, and the pure price BS.

The 370 I drove afterwards felt relatively numb and large "feeling" in comparison. It had a lot more balls, but i hated the clutch feel as well. Plus with my commute (140 miles a day, soon to be 10!) I didn't want to live with 22mpg. Plus the rear space in the 86 meant it could carry babies/small children around in the not so terribly distant future.

What swayed me to Subaru was they were willing to deal on prices. I got a 2015 brz ltd 6mt in white, for the exact same price as what most dealers are asking for the scion.

Sorry for the text wall, figured if anyone was in a similar situation it may help!
