Honestly revving up to 9000+ rpm on a 1.5:1 ratio concerns me(hence why I'm watching this thread to see the outcome). thats right there at the bottom end of the scale for "ideal" ratio on just a regular engine(non high revving). It just sucks there's absolutely no way to get a long rod into these engines without signi***ently reducing the stroke.
What's your top rings distance from the top of the piston? Looks close if not over .250" wich is nice. When you were dreaming this up did you ever think of using a gapless top ring and removing the second ring to let you move your oil ring up over the pin? I've been considering this for my build just to try and get a little longer rod by allowing the piston to be shorter then 1"( danger zone lol)
