Re: popping occurs upon initial startup when engine has been sitting for awhile or when temperatures are low. Happens one or two times during the first 15 seconds on warmup. It is most likely the rich fuel condition which causes the fuel to ignite in the CAT. Other have reported this as well. Appears to be about as normal as the chirping at idle. Canada -5 to -30 x 4 months never once noticed this pop. Have TRD drop in and exhaust though so maybe that makes the difference.

I agree that the word "hate" is a bit harsh. Actually, overall I love my FRS. Not quite sure I will sell my motorcycle just yet! Ya if it said "what are you mildly displeased about" I would probably have less issue with this thread. Other people (i.e. Click Bait bloggers) read this stuff though and all of a sudden the car is crap.
