Lemme summarize your post op: You want to keep up with a Subbie and DD and it's between a BRZ and a 370z...

Can't a 370z already keep up with a Subbie?

It's like asking: turbo a Corolla or a 370z, in many ways imo.

BRZ will be loads of fun, I'd say from my experience.... 9/10 fun vs 7/10 on a 370z.

370z is already agile... just fails to have good cooling imoe.

LSS: go 370Z...or why not both? Also the 370Z engine has undergone like 2-3 changes already, it should be as reliable as the BRZ, but because its been out longer, should offer less problems.

Concerning turbo lasting for 200k... NO CAR I KNOW has ever lasted 200k w/ a turbo. It needs rebuilt, and other little things here and there. Especially if you abuse it. I'm sure there have been some vehicles that have gone all their life w/o turbo rebuild, but in my experience and those around me, none have.
