Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forums and I'm having trouble understanding how to do this ECU flash. I have a 2013 Automatic FRS, I bought the stage 2 NA tune from Delicious Tuning and just received it today. I will be taking my car to delicious tuning for them to correctly adjust the tune in about 2 weeks...but I was told to go ahead and flash the ECU myself before taking it in.

I downloaded the drivers from ecutek (app downloader and ProECU), I followed a video on how to do it and heres the steps I did (please correct me if I did something wrong)

1. Open ProECU and download all ROM updates.
2. Click "File" then "Open ROM file..."
3. Open folder "ProECUromfiles>Subaru>BRZ"
4. I wasnt sure which of the 18 files I should pick.
5. Plugged in the cable from my ECU to my computer
6. Clicked "Tools" then "Detect Vehicle..."
7. I detected my "Subaru BRZ/Toyota FT-86"
8. Selected "Program engine ECU"
9. Under the "Compatible ROM files" screen, the compatible on that was listed that appeared under my "ROM files" was "ZA1JD00D"
10. Selected "ZA1JD00D" from Rom list
11. Select "Query ECU"
12. Program ECU, then let it download, turned off the car, turned it back on after complete.

After installing the tune, I drove the car around a bit but I noticed SIGNIFICANT lag in the acceleration.

-When in "Drive", I will floor the gas pedal but the car accelerates extremely slow and will make it to 4k RPM and then just rev until I let off the gas a bit.
-When switching to "Manual", I will try to accelerate but its still extremely slow.

Is there a reason that its so extremely slow or will I have to give it time to "re-learn"? I also tried the "turn to on, fully press and depress gas 20 times, turn off, press 20 times again, then turn off again, then drive" method but it still is slow.

I have Injen CIA, PPE EL headers and Invidia N1 exhaust.

Any help would be appreciated, as I am not experienced with tuning.
